Mark 14:43-46
Just then, while Jesus was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve apostles, arrived. A crowd carrying swords and clubs was with him. They were from the chief priests, the experts in Moses’ Teachings, and the leaders of the people. Now, the traitor had given them a signal. He said, “The one I kiss is the man you want. Arrest him, and guard him closely as you take him away.” Then Judas quickly stepped up to Jesus and said, “Rabbi!” and kissed him. Some men took hold of Jesus and arrested him.
In Puerto Rico there is a saying “me mataste a cuchilla de palo” (you killed me with a wooden knife). Hum, but killed by a kiss! That’s really bad! It could be easier to just let your leader know your concerns, your fears, your thoughts and if you have to leave, why not leaving with a blessings, but do you really need to Kiss and Kill? Sad, I know the pain, the anguish and the spiritual toil such a betrayal brings into anybody when you are betrayed by someone you care about, love and mentor; yet even after the betrayal LOVE WINS.
Spirit of Love, do not allow bitterness enter our hearts or our minds. Do not allow for us to be spiritually kill. My God, let your LOVE protect our heart from the pain those that Kiss and Kill bring to us!
Todavía estaba hablando Jesús cuando Judas, uno de los doce discípulos, llegó acompañado de mucha gente armada con espadas y con palos. Iban de parte de los jefes de los sacerdotes, de los maestros de la ley y de los ancianos. Judas, el traidor, les había dado una contraseña, diciéndoles: «Al que yo bese, ése es; arréstenlo y llévenselo bien sujeto.» Así que se acercó a Jesús y le dijo: —¡Maestro! Y lo besó. Entonces le echaron mano a Jesús y lo arrestaron.
En Puerto Rico hay un dicho “me mataste una cuchilla de palo”. Hum, pero muerte por un beso! Eso es muy malo! Seria más fácil dejar que tu líder conozca tus preocupaciones, tus miedos, tus pensamientos y si tienes que salir, ¿por qué no salir con bendiciones, pero; realmente necesitas Besar y Matar? Triste, sé el dolor, la angustia y el desgaste espiritual que semejante traición trae a alguien cuando es traicionad@ por alguien que te importa, amas y has mentoreado, sin embargo, incluso después de de la traición, el Amor Gana.
Espíritu de amor, no permitas que la amargura entre en nuestros corazones o nuestras mentes. No permitas que nos maten espiritualmente. Dios mío, que tu amor proteja nuestros corazones del dolor que un Beso y la Muerte nos traer!
