Mark 14:61b-65
The chief priest asked him again, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” Jesus answered, “Yes, I am, and you will see the Son of Man in the highest position in heaven. He will be coming with the clouds of heaven.” The chief priest tore his clothes in horror and said, “Why do we need any more witnesses? You’ve heard him dishonor God! What’s your verdict?” All of them condemned him with the death sentence. Some of them began to spit on him. They covered his face and hit him with their fists. They said to him, “Prophesy!” Even the guards took him and slapped him.”
OK, OK! I got it! If you remain in silence and say nothing you are guilty. And if you say something, You are guilty! The idea is that you are GUILTY, hear me, WE ARE GUILTY if someone do not like our dress code, our skin color; the way we talk…. We are Guilty and they will erase us from their midsts. I am so proud of being a Christian, one that identify with the Christ, and at times of trouble remain silence… but only until they ask the wrong or the write question. How it is that an 8 year old child needs to decide who she is and forced out of her school just because she does not wear dresses and somebody identified her as “not being girly enough.” But again, He – the son of God – he one that heal, the one that eat with us (the rejected, the ignored, the not good for nothing) was condemned to death just because he identified himself as I AM (Exodus 3:14). Not only was him condemn, but blindfolded, spat upon and beaten, in attempts to destroy his body … the way that many attempts to destroy our souls, our spiritual selves!
Dear I am, I love you and I am honor to be identified with you in your suffering and in accepting the other as you accepted me!
“De nuevo el sumo sacerdote le preguntó: Eres tú el Mesías, el Hijo del Dios Bendito? Y Jesús le dijo: —Sí, lo soy. Y ustedes verán al Hijo del hombre sentado a la derecha del Todopoderoso y lo verán venir en las nubes del cielo. El sumo sacerdote se rasgó la ropa y dijo: —¿Para qué necesitamos más testigos? ¡Ustedes acaban de escuchar semejante ofensa contra Dios! ¿Qué les parece? Y todos lo condenaron a muerte. Algunos le escupieron, le vendaron los ojos y le dieron puñetazos diciendo: —¡Demuéstranos que eres profeta, dinos quién te pegó! Luego los guardias se lo llevaron y lo golpearon.”
OK, OK ! ¡Ya entiendooooo! Si permaneces en silencio y no dices nada eres culpable . Y si dices algo, eres culpable ! La idea es que eres culpable , escúchame bien, “somos culpables si alguien no le gusta nuestra manera de vestir, nuestro color de piel , la forma en que hablamos …. Somos culpables y nos van a borrar de entre ellos – seremos invisibles.” Estoy muy orgullosa de ser cristiana, de identificarme con el Cristo, y en los momentos de apuro guardo silencio … pero sólo hasta que me hacen la pregunta correcta o la incorrecta. ¿Cómo es que una niña de 8 años de edad, tiene que decidir quién es y ser forzada a salir de su escuela sólo porque ella no usa vestidos y alguien la identificó como ” no ser lo suficientemente femenina. ” – El hijo de Dios – que sano a muchos, el que come con nosotr@s ( los rechazad@s , los ignorad@s, los que no sirven para nada ) fue condenado a muerte sólo porque él se identificó como YO SOY ( Éxodo 3:14 ) . No sólo se le reprende, le vendan los ojos, lo escupieron y lo golpearon , y hasta intentaron destruir su cuerpo … la forma en que muchos intentan destruir nuestra alma, nuestro yo espiritual!
Querido YO, te amo y es una honra el poder identificarme contigo, en tu sufrimiento y tambien con usted en su sufrimiento y en la aceptar al otro como tú me aceptaste a mi!
