On trial before Pontius Pilate – Juicio delante de Poncio Pilato

Mark 15: 1b-5

“The whole Jewish council decided to tie Jesus up, lead him away, and hand him over to Pilate.  Pilate asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” “Yes, I am,” Jesus answered him.  The chief priests were accusing him of many things. So Pilate asked him again, “Don’t you have any answer? Look how many accusations they’re bringing against you!”  But Jesus no longer answered anything, so Pilate was surprised.”

What it is that this man wanted to hear? “Are you the King of the Jews? Yes, I am.”  Period and the sentence its finished! There is nothing else to say. If you speak you are condemn, if you do not speak you are condemn. Then? Keep your dignity and let God be the one who ends the fight.

God who fights our battles, thanks for letting us know we are not the tail, but the head.

—Tú lo has dicho —contestó Jesús.
